“The foremost stride towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are”
Well... That’s the idiom of the day! At least for me... Someway this expression holds a special appeal from my viewpoint today. Has it ever occurred to you that you follow a gazillion of dreams over an undulating rainbow for a precise span of time and space only to abandon them as insignificant stones when that moment of awareness sparkles at the bend of the eye? Why is it that all the desires are eternal and all I wish is to wind up with a little tad of everything in life?
Now, coming to the flavor of the season: its pure bliss these days as I have stepped into a beautiful phase of my life! Yes, the world knows it now that my baby is on its way soon. My days have transformed onto months and all worries now seem to be phasing out of life. My days are now filled with pursuing the eating timelines which oft fly out of pane making me stretch out in the gleaming exhilaration of fulfillment with an amusing chortle. I am contented, happy and have become apparently immune to everything around me apart from this new life within me.
At times, I guess it’s just superlative to enjoy this new phase and relish it till it lasts. For, through that worn out part of the day, that tiny weenie fantasist in me relishes each instant of those lusciously golden daylight moments of life like tranquil ruminations, blithe conversations and that warm radiance of friends, family and books. The moment for roses would come, all in a moment.
